Email support
Quick answers.
The questions we hear most. If yours is not here, write to us and include your Lumora version and what you were doing.
Windows shows a SmartScreen warning.
The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen asks you to confirm. The warning reflects the missing signature, not a virus. The file has been scanned by 45+ vendors on VirusTotal with no detections, and its SHA-256 is on the Download page so you can check it.
My confirmation email has not arrived.
Check your spam folder; the message comes from hello@lumoratutor.app. Google sign-in confirms your email straight away. If nothing arrives, email us from the address you signed up with.
Where are my subjects and notes?
On your computer, as a local database and readable Markdown files. Deleting your cloud account does not remove them, and uninstalling does not either, so back up anything you want to keep.
Speech input or read-aloud is not working.
Speech models download once on first use, which needs a connection. After that, recognition and read-aloud run on your computer. If a download stalled, restart Lumora and try again, then tell us what you see.
Will it run on my computer?
Lumora needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, 8 GB of RAM and 4 GB of free disk space. Windows 11, 16 GB and an SSD are recommended. macOS and Linux builds are not available yet.
My credits are running low.
Lumora warns you before they run out. Credits never expire, and your notes and maps stay on your computer either way. Plans are not on sale yet; the free beta starts with 150 credits.
How do I send feedback?
